Marking Heads

The HM range are simple hand held marking heads mainly used with stencil paper, or where the stencil does not have to be fixed to the marking head. The slim handle makes it easy and comfortable to use for marking onto most surfaces. The electrolyte grid pad assemblies are also quick and simple to change.

Carbon Heads

Easy to use hand or machine applied marking head suitable for low or high volume marking.
  • The electrode is made of carbon so it does not oxidise ensuring
consistently high quality marks over a longer production period
    can be obtained.
  • The consumable costs are reduced as the felt pads
last longer and there are no additional parts.
  • An electrolyte reservoir can be fitted for hand marking which is
clearer and easier than hand applying electrolyte.
  • There is a large range of sizes and as they are constructed using
a solid carbon electrode they can be machines to suit the profile of
the component, ie flat, convex or concave surfaces.
  • Can be manufactured with one or multiple electrodes on the same body and using
    several electrolyte feeds if required.

The Remote Start Handle (RSH) (used with ME3000T & ME3000S)

The RSH incorporates a carbon marking head together with a start button which means the traditional footswitch is not needed. This makes the marking operation much easier as the whole marking cycle is controlled through the handle.
  • Electrolyte is applied directly through the reservoir making it clean and easy.
  • The RSH has a carbon marking head which gives consistent marks and does not oxidise.
  • The picture opposite is showing the RSH with the saddle marking head attached to the bottom which is ideal for marking cylindrical components.
  • Roller Marker Head

The Metaletch Rocker Markers are designed for large marking applications such as logo's or label designs for marking onto flat surfaces. This is also available in a variety of sizes.

    Roller Marker Head

The Metaletch Hand Rollers are designed for large marking applications such as rules, scales, and small strain grids.

    SMV Marking Head

The Metaletch Hand Rollers are designed for large marking applications such as rules, scales, and small strain grids.

    SMV Marking Head

The SMV (Saddle Marker - Variable), has been developed for marking onto curved surfaces with our marking jigs. The Stencil is supported between two sprung wings. As the SMV is lowered onto the component, the Stencil wraps around the surface. The Electrolyte is fed onto the grid pad via a drip feed nozzle mounted on the body of the SMV.
